How the Expansion Journal Works

Focus on JOY | Reprogram your MIND | Manifest your GOALS

The Expansion Journal includes (a) a preliminary section to lay out your goals and other fun practices you seek to implement; (b) morning exercises; (c) daily challenges; and (d) evening exercises. 

We encourage you to write as little or as much as you want and to have fun with it! Choose words that feel right to you in this moment, be mindful of how you are feeling, and see if you can reach for better-feeling thoughts.

Remember, we are all winging it! So, enjoy the expansion, it’s the process itself that is delicious!

 A FEW THINGS TO FIGURE OUT FIRST

Have fun setting your life goals, your monthly goals, your first week action steps (every week you will choose new action steps), your morning and evening self-love routine, things you can do to make yourself feel better when you feel disconnected and things you can do that bring you lots of joy.  

Dream big and allow yourself to believe that everything you set out is not only possible but an existing reality!

DAILY MORNING PRACTICE:
READY YOURSELF TO BE IN A BEAUTIFUL STATE + DAILY CHALLENGE

  • Remind yourself that you are in control of your emotions, your thoughts and your experiences and that you have the power to bring yourself back after experiencing a loss of peace, joy or lovingness.

  • Release anything that is less than who you are and let in the whole of you. 

  • Recognize your magnificence and power. 

  • Check-in with yourself to see how you are feeling and reach for better-feeling thoughts. 

  • List everything you are grateful for, big or small.

  • Visualize your life and your day using the present or past tense as if it is already done and let it go.

  • Choose an affirmation you can come back to throughout the day.

DAILY EVENING PRACTICE:
CHECK IN AND CLEAR YOUR MIND

  • Review how you spent your day in order to be more mindful of whether you spend your time wisely and are making room for yourself and your loved ones. 

  • Reconnect with yourself after any negative experience you had during the day. Often, the only way out of something is through it; so, don’t ignore what is bothering you but see if you can move through it! 

  • Plan your to-do-list for the next day as well as the ways in which you can nourish your body and give it the exercise it needs and review those sections from the day before, paying special attention to the way your results make you feel. 

  • Review all positive experiences you had during the day and see if you can make yourself feel better, if so needed. 

  • Soothe yourself and ready yourself for a good night’s sleep!
